MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor's degree from a college or university accredited by
an organization recognized by the Council for Higher Education
Accreditation (CHEA) or by the United States Department of
Education (USDE). Major course work in Criminal Justice, Public
Administration, Research Methods, Sociology, Statistics, or a
related field preferred. Each year of experience as described
below in excess of the required four years may be substituted for
thirty semester hours from an accredited college or university
on a year-for-year basis.
2. Four years full-time, wage-earning statistical analysis, research,
program administration, or public administration experience. Fifteen
semester hours of graduate course work from a college or university
accredited by an organization recognized by the CHEA or by the USDE
in a related field may be substituted for each year of experience on
a year-for-year basis for a maximum substitution of two years.
3. Criminal justice experience preferred.
4. Experience in Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS)
Statistical Analysis Software (SAS), R, or other equivalent
statistical or analytics software preferred.
**The salary for an ERS Retiree (or non-contributing member) may be
reduced by 2.5%.**

**The Community Justice Assistance Division has only one position
available. This position may be located in Austin or Huntsville.
