This includes the development, coordination and implementation of community education events, establishment of new testing sites, management of prevention social media pages, and increasing Vivent Health's engagement with the community. This position will coordinate events in various Vivent Health locations, with an emphasis on the Milwaukee community.

This position will coordinate events in various Vivent Health locations, with an emphasis on the Milwaukee community.
Essential Functions
- Successfully convey the mission and vision of Vivent Health with a focus on community HIV education and prevention.
- Interact directly with community members and community leaders.
- Develop impactful and creative ways to reach our target audience.
- Work closely with Prevention Specialists and others within Vivent Health to align messaging and outreach activities.
- Facilitate planning meetings with internal and external partners as needed.
- Coordinate and implement local events (e.g., planning, logistics) to engage priority populations in order to provide education, harm reduction, HIV/HCV/STI counseling, testing and referral (CTR) and PrEP referrals.
- Coordinate and implement statewide initiatives for awareness days (e.g., World AIDS Day, Overdose Awareness Day).
- Work in collaboration with Prevention leadership to coordinate staff support and CTR as appropriate for each event.
- Maintain complete and organized records of all meetings and events.
- Maintain accessible and complete records regarding resources, key contacts, evaluation data, number of individuals reached, etc. This includes utilization of Vivent Health's internal prevention data collection system, Provide Enterprise.
- Implement evaluation strategies to measure event success.
- Brainstorm future locations and event opportunities.
- Manage prevention social media channels for Wisconsin Prevention Services and the Lifepoint Program, which includes gathering content from colleagues, creating new content, identifying opportunities to more effectively engage priority populations, and data collection to evaluate success.
- Oversee inventory of all outreach materials, ensure effective use of materials, and monitor supplies and organization of items. Work with Marketing to create and order new supplies as needed.
- Regularly report to the Director of Prevention Services on all activities through biweekly personal management inventory.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or 2-4 years of work experience in Community Engagement, event planning, and/or social media management, preferably with a prevention and/or public health focus. Must have a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Must be willing and able to travel within and throughout Wisconsin.
- Understanding of and sensitivity to HIV/AIDS, PrEP, and alcohol and other drug (AODA) issues.
- Demonstrated cultural competency including the ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with individuals from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds.
