TSS is seeking Secret or TS cleared Warehouse workersThis position requires a Top-Secret security clearance POSITION SUMMARY:The Warehouse worker positions can be assigned to the Washington DC, Springfield, VA, or Cheverly MD. Locations. This position performs daily delivery, order fulfillment, packaging, receiving, and shipment duties of component boxes and materials. Conducts scheduling of orders, ensures accuracy of packaging products, and scans bar codes within the Warehouse Tracking System (WTS). Works with other employees and departments to resolve shipping and receiving matters.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Organize stock and merchandise within the warehouse by properly unboxing and storing goods in their designated locationMaintain accurate records of products that have been stocked and provide management with an accurate representation of all goods shipped and receivedVerify all incoming shipments to be accurate by comparing the invoice to the order and ensure all goods are in excellent conditionMonitor and report any missing or lost inventory to managementProperly pack items to be shipped according to company standards to ensure they arrive in excellent conditionOrganize and sort items on shelving, bins, and overhangs according to company standardsAccurately maintain company database including all stock and warehouse itemsReliably retrieve items from within the warehouse to be processed and shippedScans barcodes of shipping modules to the Warehouse Tracking System (WTS) system for record keeping.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:Required: At least (3) three years of warehouse experiencePreferred f: Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, DOT certification; demonstrated ability operating delivery vehiclesComputer skills: Microsoft Word/Excel, emailAble to work independentlyAt Least 18 Years OldMust Be able to pass drug and background checkMust be able to work in a refrigerator or freezer environmentAbility to lift 50 pounds, as many warehouse items are cumbersome and heavyAbility to maintain a high level of physicality for prolonged periods and working primarily standingExperience working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detailInterpersonal skills are essential, as working as a team is vital to maintaining and organized warehouseExperience with software such as Microsoft Excel and other company spreadsheet programsExperience using a forklift and professional forklift certification is strongly preferredTyping and record keeping skills necessary to provide accurate information for managers and supervisors regarding warehouse inventoryAbility to problem solve quickly and prioritize daily tasks according to their importanceCustomer service mentality is beneficial to ensure a positive customer experience by shipping items to a high standardATTRIBUTES:Communicator: You possess strong communication skills and enjoy working with customers.Team Oriented: You can embrace the ideas of others (even if they conflict with your own) for the sake of the company and clientMust be able to work with limited supervisionSelf-motivated: You can work with a minimum of supervision and be capable of strategically prioritizing multiple tasks in a proactive mannerPassionate: You must be passionate about collaborationAnalytical: You can analyze problems and offer alternative solutions, while thinking outside of the boxWORK ENVIRONMENT:While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly exposed to outside weather conditionsThe associate is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or, or electrical components The noise level in the work environment is usually moderateReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions
