HSPop's (Research with Expert Advisors on Drug Use) READU team has an excellent opportunity for a temporary, hourly Research Study Coordinator 2. This position will assist on research projects related to improving health equity for people who use drugs, specifically focusing on providing administrative support and community engagement expertise on a project related to law enforcement and people who use drugs.
To date, all READU projects have focused on improving health equity for people who use drugs, and reducing stigma against people who use drugs. Past projects have addressed first response systems and have involved qualitative interviews with people who use drugs and first responders.
The successful candidate will bring their expertise in collaboratively working with members of our shared community and a desire to provide compassionate support to fellow members of the team to support their successful participation on the team. They will also share knowledge on how to create productive and positive interactions between service providers and members of our communities. Prior experience working in frontline harm reduction or with community-engaged research is helpful but not required.
This hourly position is anticipated to work 5-10 hours per week, with some weeks having more time required than others.
