We are seeking a dynamic and motivated intern to join our team as a Data Optimization Intern. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in updating and optimizing data within TriMet's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database, CIVI-CRM. Working closely with our Community Engagement and Community Affairs department, as well as the Transportation Options program, you will lead the charge in ensuring that our database is accurate, up-to-date, and reflective of our diverse network of partners.
TriMet's Internships are excellent opportunities to build skills, gain experience, develop connections with industry professionals and develop work samples for a portfolio. Relevant experience is useful, but most important is a willingness and excitement to learn.1) Collaborate with internal departments to review and update data in the CIVI-CRM database.
2) Verify contact information and preferences with our partners through effective communication channels.
3) Lead the CRM clean-up and optimization project to enhance accessibility and usability for team members.
4) Update data to facilitate seamless tracking of interactions such as conversations, phone calls, meetings, and emails.
5) Contribute innovative ideas for improving data management processes and systems.Be a current or upcoming Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business, Marketing, Journalism, Political Science, Public relations or related field. Current Grad students or recent graduates in the past year will also be considered.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with CRM databases is a plus.Type of Position / Grade / FLSA
Non-Exempt, Non-Union, Full-Time (40 hours/week), Temporary. Internships will run May/June through August/September.
Wage
Interns will be paid $21/hour
