The person in this role will create website content, write content for our weekly newsletter, manage social media, help with school events, and more. What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree (communications/journalism preferred)
• 1-3 years of communications and graphic design experience preferred

What You'll Do

• Design, write, and edit school communications (i.e. Thursday Newsletter, announcements, parent letters, handbooks/policies and more)
• Manage and monitor the school's social media pages, online profiles, and general online presence
• Write, review and edit content for the PCK website
• Manage, monitor, and moderate the school's social media pages, online school profiles (i.e. Facebook, Instagram, Schola, Great Schools) and generate online presence
• Create communications and promotional material for school events (i.e. Veteran's day, kindergarten orientation, graduation)
• Design and create promotional products and recruiting materials
• Other duties as assigned, such as providing backup for the front office positions and providing special event support

This is a part-time position (20 hours per week - mornings or afternoons) and the expected starting pay range is $25,000 - $30,000 per year. The position may include some flexible work over the summmer.
