```Job Summary```
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Communication Specialist to join our team. As a Communication Specialist, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing effective communication strategies to promote our organization and engage with our target audience. You will be responsible for creating compelling content, managing media relations, and enhancing our brand image through various communication channels.
```Duties```
- Develop and execute communication plans to support organizational goals
- Write, edit, and proofread content for various communication materials including press releases, articles, blog posts, and social media posts
- Coordinate with internal teams to gather information and ensure accuracy of content
- Conduct research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities
- Assist in organizing and coordinating events.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels
- Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of communication campaigns and make recommendations for improvement
```Experience```
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field
- Proven experience in public relations or corporate communications
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to create engaging content for different audiences.
- Strong handle on all social media platforms. Graphic design skills are a major plus.
- Strong editing and proofreading abilities with a keen eye for detail
- Proficiency in using various communication tools and platforms
- Exceptional public speaking and presentation skills
- Ability to conduct thorough research and synthesize information into clear and concise messages
- Familiarity with AP style guidelines is preferred
