Job description

Job Summary: The Communications and Marketing Associate will be responsible for working closely with our outside marketing firm to develop and implement marketing strategies to enhance our brand, engage customers, and drive business growth. This role involves content creation both internally and externally, digital marketing, social media management, and public relations tasks. The ideal candidate is a multi-talented professional with a knack for storytelling and a keen understanding utilizing innovative marketing trends to drive lead generation.

Key Responsibilities:

Communications:

  • Manage content on Richter’s Intranet to ensure internal communication is timely.
  • Reviews and assists with all company media i.e.: presentations, blogs, eblasts, etc. for branding, grammar, and format.
  • Administers electronic proposals and engagement letters including distribution and filing.
  • Conducts sales follow-up communications with website leads; set appointments between prospects and appropriate Richter subject matter experts.
  • Manages Richter’s CRM system (HubSpot), ensuring that the database content and contacts are accurate and up to date.
  • Create engaging content for various platforms including social media, website, email newsletters, and promotional materials both internally and externally.
  • Manage and update the company's social media profiles, ensuring consistent and quality engagement with our audience.

Marketing:

  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote market trends, services, and events including tradeshows.
  • Work with our CMO to track and analyze the effectiveness of marketing strategies to optimize future efforts.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and media outlets to enhance the company's public relations efforts.
  • Assist in organizing events and additional efforts to strengthen the company's market presence.
  • Manage the production of marketing collateral and ensure all materials adhere to brand guidelines.
  • Provide support for market research to identify customer trends and insights.
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the industry and competitive landscape.
  • Additional responsibilities as required to meet the needs of the business.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing and/or communications, preferably in a small business setting.
  • Proficiency with digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media, email marketing software, and content management systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a talent for crafting compelling narratives.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities, with an eye for detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative mindset with a willingness to experiment and innovate.
  • Basic design skills and familiarity with design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, SharePoint) are a plus.
  • Experience with HubSpot marketing and sales software preferred.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
