Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a/an Commodity Analystlocated in Henrico, VA.
Reporting to the Director, Supply Chain Management the Commodity Analystwill be based in Henrico, VA Responsible for development, execution and pricing of procurement risk strategies for Flex. (focus on Electrical commodities).
What a typical day looks like:

• Responsible for the development, recommendation, and execution of optimal sourcing strategies for certain items
• Develop a technical, statistical and fundamental assessment for each commodity
• Negotiate terms and conditions for annual and multi-year purchase commitments
• Cost Management/Reduction/Cost Avoidance
• Analysis of commodity risk positions reported to multiple levels of the organization
• Develop plans resulting in cost savings, synergies, quality improvements and supply chain efficiencies.

The experience we're looking to add to our team,

• Bachelor's degree required and equivalent +5 years of experience.
• Electrical ( Breakers, transformers, etc.), Mechanical (metal suppliers, etc.) and others.
• Manufacturing background experience
• Analytical skills
