Commercial Operations Manager

General Information:

Hitachi Energy is seeking for a Commercial Operations Manager for it's Mt Pleasent, PA location.

Your Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead the order processing team to ensure accurate and timely execution of customer orders.
• Oversee the management of contracts within the SAP system, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Collaborate with sales, production, and logistics teams to address any order-related issues.
• Develop and implement efficient order management processes within SAP to enhance order accuracy.
• Establish and maintain effective cash collection processes within SAP, ensuring timely receipt of customer payments.
• Collaborate with the finance department to promptly resolve any billing or invoicing discrepancies using SAP.
• Monitor and analyze accounts receivable within the SAP system to identify and address potential collection issues.
• Act as a point of contact for customer inquiries related to orders, contracts, and payments.
• Work closely with the customer service team to address customer concerns.
• Strive to enhance the overall customer experience through effective order-handling processes.
• Generate regular reports for management, highlighting performance metrics and areas for improvement.

Your Background:

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
• Proven experience in order handling, contract management, and cash collections, preferably in a manufacturing or high-tech industry.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in using SAP order management systems and related software.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on continuous process improvement.
