Job Description
We are seeking a Commercial Account Manager for a national insurance firm. You will serve existing commercial clients alongside a team of seasoned insurance professionals.
Compensation & Perks:
- Base Salary: $70,000 - $75,000

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met accurately and courteously.
- Policy Management: Handle new and renewal business, endorsements, certificates of insurance, and policy reviews for accuracy and relevance.
- Professional Communication: Liaise professionally with insurance companies and clients for account servicing.
- Client Queries: Address client questions regarding their insurance coverages and needs.
- Underwriting Queries: Respond to insurance company underwriting questions about client accounts.
- Claims Processing: Assist with claims processing as needed.
- Marketing Support: Contribute to marketing efforts where applicable.
- Industry Knowledge: Stay informed about new coverages and products, adhering to agency quality control standards.
Other Responsibilities:
- Continuing Education: Engage in annual Continuing Education to stay abreast of industry changes.
- Personal Development: Pursue personal and professional development.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Licensing: Must possess a current Property and Casualty Insurance License.
- Experience: Commercial Account Management experience.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite and agency management systems such as Applied EPIC or AMS360.
- Attention to Detail: Strong respect for confidentiality and meticulous attention to detail.
- Time Management: Exceptional time management skills.
- Communication: Excellent written and oral communication abilities.
- Analytical Skills: Capability to understand and analyze insurance coverages, forms, and policies.
