The successful candidate will be responsible for performing repairs on heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems as well as hotside/commercial appliances. This includes troubleshooting and diagnosing problems, as well as installing and replacing components. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of HVAC/R systems (hotside experience is a big plus), excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC/R systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC/R system issues.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose commercial cooking equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Test components for proper operation.
- Calibrate system components to ensure proper operation.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs.
- Must be able to be in on call rotation.
