Aquatic Service Technician

Our Corporate Headquarter is in Houston, Texas, and we have satellite offices located in Austin, Texas, Golden, Colorado and Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot commercial aquatic pump room equipment (e.g., pumps, heaters, filters, timers, pool cleaners, blowers, lights, automated pool systems, chlorinators, backwash valves, PVC plumbing).
• Install, rebuild, replace, or repair fuses, valves, controls, gaskets, and other equipment as necessary.
• Complete on-site system evaluations. Specific experience with commercial aquatic filtration would be considered an asset.
• Ability to balance and maintain total water chemistry for commercial aquatic facilities.
• Troubleshoot basic electrical issues.
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools.
• Complete and turn in field reports that capture all time and work completed on site.
• Perform other duties and assignments as directed by management.

Ideal Candidate will

• Be dependable, reliable, responsive, problem solver and detail oriented.
• Have a high level of customer service skills.
• Have knowledge of the materials, methods, and tools used in the operation and repair of commercial aquatic pump room systems, HVAC systems, or plumbing techniques.
• Hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Be able to work both cooperatively with others, and independently with little direction when necessary.

Qualifications

• Pass a criminal background check.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (e.g., work in various weather conditions, lift heavy loads up to 80 pounds etc.)
• Ability to use hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
• Frequent bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
• Ability to travel.
• Plumbing Experience Required.
• RAIL certification would be considered an asset.
• CPO or AFO certification would be considered an asset.
• CPR certification preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
