Job Description:
As a Seasonal Flooring Installer at Simply Construction LLC, you will play a pivotal role in installing various types of Commercial Flooring, with a particular emphasis on sports flooring inside basketball gyms. This includes the precise application of game lines to ensure the functionality and aesthetics of the space. Additionally, you will be responsible for installing and finishing other types of Commercial Flooring to meet project specifications and industry standards. This role demands attention to detail, physical stamina, and effective teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install sports flooring inside basketball gyms, ensuring precise application of game lines.
- Install and finish various types of Commercial Flooring, including gym floors, epoxy coatings, and sealers.
- Prepare work areas by cleaning, leveling, and ensuring proper substrate conditions.
- Measure and cut flooring materials accurately to fit specific areas.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate closely with team members and project managers to ensure project completion within set timelines.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition, reporting any issues promptly.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns professionally.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in installing sports flooring inside basketball gyms, including painting game lines.
- Knowledge of various flooring materials, tools, and installation techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
