Commercial Driver - License Required

Your primary job functions will include:
• Driving and delivering products to local (Mid Valley) customers in an timely, efficient and courteous manner
• Checking loads for accuracy and safety prior to leaving the yard. Match load shipping documents to what is on your loaded truck.
• Operate heavy trucks or permanent fleet vehicles at 26,000 pounds or more combined or loaded weight; or over
• You will be required to pick up products from vendors and bring back to Salem.
• You will maintain your assigned truck in a clean and safe condition. You will inform your supervisor when truck maintenance is needed.
• These are not all inclusive and will include special projects assigned to you from time to time.
In addition to the above, you will maintain a pleasant professional attitude towards customers at all times.
A teamwork attitude is required in all aspects of our business.
Your performance will be evaluated on:
• Your professionalism in how you do your job and your treatment of customers
• Efficiency and safety of driving of your driving record
• Your ability to maintain your truck in a clean, safe and in operating condition at all times
• Accuracy of orders shipped to customers and paperwork returned to the office
• Your attendance record
Hours: Your supervisor will determine your starting time each day, Monday thru Friday. You are required to work until assigned route is complete and your truck is prepared for the next day and ready to load. Regular overtime is expected. A one half hour lunch must be taken at a convenient time based on your delivery schedule. These hours may be adjusted on an as needed basis. (If overtime is needed, it is a requirement of the position.)

$500 bonus after 90 days of service - 90 day temp to hire position
$1000 bonus after 180 days of service
$1000 bonus after a years of service
