As an On-Call Janitorial Flex Associate at Cavalry Cleaning Company, you will play a vital role in our flexible workforce model, ensuring responsive coverage for open shifts that become available. Your dedication to maintaining cleanliness and your willingness to contribute your skills on a flexible basis will contribute to our commitment to excellence in janitorial services.
Whenever an open shift becomes available due to increased workload, special projects, or unforeseen circumstances, the scheduling system notifies both full-time cleaners and on-call associates.
Responsibilities:
- Cleaning Professionals must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assigned.
- Responding to business owners' inquiries and complaints in a professional manner.
Duties:
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to remove dirt, debris, and dust from floors and other surfaces.
- Empty trash bins, replace liners, and ensure proper disposal of waste.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, scrubbing toilets, showers, baths, and bathroom sinks as well as removing mildew buildup and mold from various surfaces and mirrors.
- Restock supplies like soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to supervisors.
- Wiping down kitchen appliances, equipment, and counters to remove dirt, grease, and grime.
- Regularly emptying wastebaskets and disposing of all rubbish.
Working Hours
- Flexible shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends, based on facility needs.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Stand, bend, and walk for extended periods.
- Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals while following safety guidelines.
Soft Skills:
- Attention to detail for maintaining a high level of cleanliness.
- Time management to complete tasks efficiently.
- Communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
- Adaptability to changing cleaning schedules and tasks.
Qualifications:
- Cleaning experience
- Must be detail-oriented and able to follow instructions.

- Be able to move small furniture when necessary.
