Collections Representative

Holman has a great opportunity for a Collections Representativeto join our team in either Bartlett, IL orPennsauken, NJ!

You may be a great fit for this role if you have previous collections experience.

Pay: $24+/hr.

Hybrid Schedule with Monday and Friday WFH!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyze accounts receivable trends
• Collect and reduce delinquency on past due amounts on all assigned accounts
• Perform cash application reconciliation
• Assist customers in resolving their delinquency
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Prepare and process journal entries for management
• Maintain and keep consistent customer database to accurately track ongoing activities with detailed notes
• Perform regular customer credit reviews with special focus on closed or bankrupt accounts
• Call on customers for core recovery and initiate pickup
• Process monthly delinquency reports
• Other duties as assigned

What are we looking for?

• High school diplomas or equivalent reading, writing and arithmetic skills.
• Knowledge of relevant federal regulations and the Fair Debt Collection Protection Act.
• Ability to read, write, and speak in English.
• Ability to perform basic math functions: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• High functioning ability in Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook and Excel.
• Experience using accounting software.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to analyze information and draw logical conclusions.
