How Will You Make an Impact?
- Collection calls and/or written correspondence in a fast-paced environment.
- Accept client calls, address discrepancies and reconcile accounts.
- Review accounts and request necessary adjustments or refunds.
- Timely follow-up and follow through with collection procedures.
- Must communicate and follow-up effectively with team members and firm personnel regarding client accounts on a timely basis.
- Enlist the efforts of staff and management when necessary to accelerate the collection process.
- Heavy posting of payments to client accounts and reconciling of daily receipts.
- Preparation and reconciliation of department reports as assigned.
- Perform other assigned tasks and duties necessary to support the department.
How Will You Get Here?
- 2-4 years of combined general billing, collection and administrative experience.
- An associate's degree in accounting, finance or business administration preferred.
- A clear understanding of the collection process.
- A high degree of efficiency with all Microsoft Office Suite products.
- Excellent analytical and research skills.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention-to-detail and follow-through.
- Must have the ability to build rapport with the team and be a team player.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel formulas and functions.
- ProSystem fx Practice Management software experience preferred.
- An eye for detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to work in a collaborative environment and communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- The ability to adapt and prioritize duties and manage multiple responsibilities in response to the demands of the day-to-day activities of the department.
