Collection Specialist

Job Summary:Collection Specialist will be the primary contact which includes connecting daily with our customers, understanding their payment schedules, and have full insight of our cash flow cycle. This position will work alongside our teams to ensure timely collections of our receivables.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Building relationships with our customers and understanding their history and payment schedules
• Follow up on deadlines related to customer accounts
• Account reconciliations on a timely basis
• Working alongside Collections Manager/Supervisor to follow company processes and procedures regarding collections.
• Emails and collection calls with required documentation of the progress on each account
• Other duties as assigned

Responsible for additional duties and accountabilities that will be assigned as needed.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Organizational skills and attention to detail
• Time management with a proven ability to meet deadlines

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Ability to lift 15 pounds
