Position Summary: Our Collection Specialist is the main point of contact for all customer credit inquiries, collections.
- Location: 861 S. Jason Street, Denver, CO 80223
- Schedule: Monday – Friday / Full-time (40 hours/week)
- Shift: 7: a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
- Compensation: Based on experience, knowledge, ability
- Salary Range: $50,000-$60,000 (Non-exempt / Overtime available)
- Remote Work Opportunities: Hybrid after 6 months service.
- Minimum two years in Building Materials or Construction Industry.
- Previous experience with business-to-business collections including calls and email required.
- Experience with Mechanics Liens, Bonds, Lien Waivers, Sales Tax.
- Experience with various Construction related forms and Purchase Orders.
- Experience with outside billing websites.
- Ability to work in multiple computer platforms.
- Attention to detail.
- Customer service driven.
- Ability to problem solve, collect data, and draw conclusions, trouble shoot issues using different teams within the organization.
- Motivated by results.
- Ability to think creatively to overcome obstacles.
- Flourishes as self-starter and is self-motivated but has the capability to work in a team environment with peers and management
- Able to multi-task and stay focused in a fast-paced busy environment.
- Excellent business etiquette with verbal and written communication.

- Monthly account receivable past 30 days (Goal <20.8%)
- Limit bad debt as a % of Sales (Goal <0.10%)
- General office environment under normal conditions (heat and air-conditioned building)
- This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and
- printers/scanners
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to type, finger, handle, or feel objects, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, or use a ramp, talk, and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
