A Cocktail Server is responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience and ensuring guests are served timely and accurately. The position requires welcoming service with attention to detail, and ability to anticipate guest needs as well as the ability to describe and recommend our craft cocktails.
Due to the nature of our business, this position is required to work weekends and holidays.
The day-to-day responsibilities include but are not limited to:
General Duties and Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests warmly and provide a friendly and approachable demeanor, engaging in courteous and attentive interactions.
- Take cocktail and drink orders from guests, accurately inputting them into the system for preparation by the bar employees.
- Efficiently deliver beverages to guests, ensuring drinks are served promptly and aesthetically accurate.
- Suggest premium or specialty cocktails, as well as additional menu items, to enhance the guests' experience and increase sales.
- Familiarize yourself with the cocktail menu and wine selections, providing insightful recommendations and descriptions to guests.
- Monitor tables and seating areas, ensuring they are clean, organized, and set up to accommodate guests comfortably.
- Process cash and credit card transactions accurately and responsibly, following established cash-handling procedures.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries, address any concerns, and provide assistance as needed to create a positive experience.
- Comply with local alcohol service laws and regulations, monitoring guest intoxication levels, and refusing service when necessary.
- Collaborate with Bartenders, Barbacks, and other service staff to maintain a smooth flow of service and a cohesive team environment.
- Temporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessary.

- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
- Familiarity with a variety of cocktails, spirits, and wine selections to provide knowledgeable recommendations to guests.
- Previous experience as a Cocktail Server or in a similar guest-facing role preferred.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and members in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on the lounge's operational needs.
- Must meet the legal age requirement for serving alcoholic beverages in your location.
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
