This position will support our Minerals Crushing business line, specifically Crushing Equipment solutions.
The Co-Op engineer will work with the engineering team to understand our products and how their discipline is applied to those products. The Co-Op will work as a member of an interdisciplinary team and apply engineering knowledge, principles, and best practices to meet design support activities. The Co-Op may also rotate into other teams including Proposals, Applications, Project Management, Quality, and Technical Support for a more complete understanding of the products offered and the respective supporting business processes.
In this role, the Co-Op will work in collaboration with the engineering team on capital equipment projects, performing hands-on design work and related engineering calculations. The Co-Op will prepare engineering drawings for equipment design and manufacturing and assist engineers in preparing formal engineering specifications for equipment or internal workflows. They will work closely with lead engineers and managers to provide technical problem-solving.
The goal of the Engineering Co-Op position is for the candidate to return for multiple terms to build on the skills gained from work and the classroom.
