Our client is a well-respected, multinational financial institution with a truly global reach and operations on every continent. The company offers a wide range of Financial Services from commercial and corporate banking to capital markets, wealth management and investment banking.
They are looking to add a talent C#/.Net developer to their internal development team in Jersey City, supporting the development of common application spaces, such as document delivery systems for externa/internal users, critical risk and reporting interfaces, and applications for internal bank operations.
Role:
Design, develop, test, and implement enterprise applications
Recommend development and technology improvements and best practices
Function as SME on assigned applications, technologies, and business processes
Full stack application development using C#, MVC, jQuery, TypeScript, AngularJS
Provide production and operation support for assigned applications.
This position will provide ongoing development, ops support and development
Requirements:
BSC in Computer Science or equivalent
10 years of IT and software development experience
An excellent grasp of web technologies using NET Framework, ASP.NET MVC, C#, XML, XSL, Web Services, SQL Server, IBM DB2, HTML, JavaScript, Angular and TypeScript
Excellent analytical, communication, documentation, leadership and problem-solving skills
Some banking/financial experience
Strong (8+ years) MVC experience with recent familiarity
Experience with XML DB is an advantage
Experience in designing and developing complex and large-scale business applications
