CNC Router/Assembler

Sportsman Boats Mfg. is looking for a Router/Assembler/Floater, responsible for the operation of the router machines, assembling cut plastic parts, restocking completed parts (AP3 and plastic), and restocking material for CNC machines to help machines meet daily production goals.
What you will do:

• Perform all assigned Router Assembly CNC operations meeting daily and weekly production goals while maintaining high quality standards
• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to management
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follows prescribed safety procedures
• Transport materials to different areas of CNC shop
• Perform inspection of machined products, and documents results
• Complete and maintain paperwork for parts
• Assist in other work areas in Upholstery/CNC department as needed
• Other duties as assigned

• Working knowledge with calipers, dial indicators and other measuring tools
• Experience using small hand tools
• Knowledgeable in the areas of material cutting, routing, pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; ability to follow schedules
• Detail oriented, proactive and able to complete tasks independently with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment
• Advanced time management and organizational skills
• High School diploma or equivalent

• Experience working with leather and vinyl materials in marine industry
• Experience using the Eastman, Axyz, and Router systems
• Experience with wood working, or assembly and production
