Lathe programmer:
As the CNC Lathe Programmer/Machinist you will be responsible for taking jobs from 3D model or blueprints and produce finished parts.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Programming, setup tooling, basic inspection and finishing of the parts.
- Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, and material specifications.
- Program lathes and Swiss lathes (Swiss experience is a plus)
- Maintains part specifications by adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.
- Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements specified by the manufacturer's instructions.
- Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership and exploring opportunities to add value to the team.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 7 years machining experience necessary or equivalent.
- Significant CAM software experience preferably with FeatureCam/Parts maker
- Tooling speeds and feeds selection responsibility.
- Manual Mill and Lathe Experience.
- Utilization of GD&T standards.
- Interpersonal skills required to work with others from various disciplines and cultures.
- Strong organizational skills to communicate technical data to colleagues and leadership.
- Strong level of analytical thinking.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.28 - $29.25 per hour
