Tesla is seeking a highly motivated and skilled CNC Programmer. This role will require the individual to work closely with teams within design and engineering, to support design studio prototyping. You we be tasked with programming and set up of large format CNC routers to cut urethane foam of varying densities.
- Program and setup 3&5-axis machines
- Work closely with engineering teams to provide crucial input on designs
- Open communication with engineers, management, and other team members
- 3-5 years of programming experience 3 & 5 axis
- Experience setting up and operating CNC machines (Fanuc CNC control programming skills a plus)
- Initiative to complete tasks independently, from start to finish
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work effecively in a team environment
- A keen eye for detail with strong organizational and time management skills
- Self starter with ability to multi-task and prioritize workday/projects independently as well as strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Basic woodshop skills to process blocks prior to machining
