Responsibilities:
- Programming: Utilize CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software to generate CNC programs based on engineering blueprints, CAD models, and specifications.
- Setup: Set up CNC machines, including loading necessary tools, fixtures, and materials according to job requirements.
- Machine Operation: Operate CNC machines to execute programmed tasks, monitoring the process to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Quality Assurance: Perform in-process inspection and dimensional checks to verify conformance to design specifications and quality standards.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve programming, tooling, and machining issues to maintain production flow and minimize downtime.
- Optimization: Continuously improve machining processes, tooling strategies, and program efficiency to enhance productivity and quality.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of programming revisions, tool changes, and machine setup parameters for future reference.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, machinists, and production team members to optimize designs for manufacturability and resolve any manufacturing challenges.
- Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Skills:
- Experience with multi-axis machining and advanced machining techniques (e.g., 5-axis, high-speed machining).
- Knowledge of CNC programming languages (e.g., G-code, M-code).
- Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor) for part modeling and design modification.
- Certification in CNC programming or machining from a recognized institution or industry organization.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in programming, setup, and machining operations to ensure quality workmanship.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex machining challenges and develop innovative solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, production schedules, and engineering requirements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being capable of independently managing tasks and projects.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in CNC programming and machining operations, with proficiency in CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, GibbsCAM, or similar).
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Strong knowledge of machining principles, tooling selection, and cutting parameters.
- Familiarity with a variety of CNC machines (milling, turning, etc.) and control systems (e.g., Fanuc, Haas, Siemens).
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug CNC programs and machining processes effectively.
