General Information
- CNC Operator
- Located in Mentor
- $18-$27/hour based on previous experience.
- 1st shift working from 5am to 230pm, Monday – Friday
- 2nd shift working from 3pm to 130am, Monday – Friday ( $1 shift differential)
- Temp to Hire opportunity with the company.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Operate CNC Mill machines, both horizontal and vertical.
- Load raw material (bars, sheet, plate steel, etc) with the assistance of an overhead crane as needed.
- Enter programs into controller, verify tooling and offsets.
- Review first part and obtain production approval from QC.
- Continue production run of parts, performing in process inspections.
- Complete all necessary documentation.
- Follow all safety policies.
- Interpret and execute written and verbal job instructions.
- Review drawings and blueprints.
Skills/Qualifications
- 1 or more years’ experience operating CNC machines.
- Able to use precision measuring devices.
- Ability to setup CNC machines a plus.
- Basic math and computer skills
- Able to lift 50 lbs. independently
- High School Diploma or GED, required.
- Will be subject to pre-employment screening.
