Who You Are:
Successful candidate will have a solid understanding and experience level within the glass industry. You are dependable, work safely in a team setting. Must have mathematical understanding and experience programming machinery.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Operates CNC equipment (CMS machine) to fabricate glass to the specification ordered.
- Creates programs in CNC as needed to perform required fabrication.
- Programs CNC equipment by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches; calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving part programs.
- Sets up CNC equipment by installing and adjusting tools and attachments; verifies settings by measuring positions.
- Maintains equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements.
- Work in other departments and different duties as needed
Skills You Bring:
- One year of previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or production facility ispreferred.
- Prior CNC experience
- Must be able to lift 75 lbs. unassisted.
- Must be able to communicate as a member of a team.
- Must be able to follow instruction.
- Strong mathematical background is preferred.
- Glass fabrication industry preferred but not required
