Staffing Inc is partnered with a client in Portland who is actively looking to hire qualified individuals for CNC/Machine Operators who are ready to start as soon as possible! The ideal candidate will be able to complete a drug screen and background check, CNC experience, and more.
CNC/Machine Operator Benefits:
- $20/hr
- 8-10 hour shifts
- Benefits eligible when hired in
- Weekend overtime
CNC/Machine Operator Responsibilities:
- Set up, maintain and operate a CNC multi-station machining center.
- Operating single axis or multi-station CNC controls, automated welding, called up programs, making minor adjustments, drilling, reaming, turning, chamfering, tapping, milling, piercing, and similar operations on a varity of part sizes.
- Maintain acceptable levels of performance as measured again work cell benchmarks.
- Read, comprehend work instructions/inspections requirements and document the same as required frequencies.
CNC/Machine Operator Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Skilled in reading and interpreting both parts prints and process sheets
- Lift, load and unload parts up to 30 pounds
- Ability to stand for 8-10 hour shifts
- Ability to work overtime
- Positive attitude and team player!
