```Duties```
- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform precision machining operations
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations
- Select and install cutting tools, fixtures, and machine accessories according to specifications
- Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and make adjustments as necessary
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, bore gauges, and micrometers
- Troubleshoot issues with machines or programs and make necessary adjustments or repairs
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of machining principles
- Proficiency in operating CNC machines and programming controls
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software, such as SolidWorks, for creating or modifying machining programs
- Ability to use power tools and hand tools effectively and safely
- Experience with electrical discharge machining (EDM) is a plus
- Basic math skills for performing calculations and measurements accurately
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify issues and find solutions
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
