Cnc Machinist

Richway Industries, Ltd. is seeking a CNC machine operator and programmer. The main priority of this team member will be to machine production parts, maintenance machining on plastic and rubber molds, and also machining of special parts and fixtures. The right candidate will be a hardworking detailed oriented individual.

Responsibilities

• Tooling/Fixtures/Special Projects--capable of designing/programming/building/repairing injection and rubber molds, special tooling, and fixtures.
• Production Management-- responsible for prototype part programming and new production part program creation. Also working with Production Manager, and others as needed, to determine the production schedule and ensure that part inventories are at optimum levels.
• Quality-- Edit/write programs to ensure quality parts are being produced and help drive quality within the area
• Establish and improve production output-- this may involve working with operators to optimize machine cycle process, post-op processes, and implementing other production improvements
• Safety-- responsible for identifying and ensuring equipment/tools are maintained to adequate safety requirements and that area employees are following safe work practices
• Raw Materials Inventory-- responsible for maintaining raw materials inventory.
• Finished Goods Inventory-- responsible for entering inventory into RAIS on a daily basis
• Area Maintenance-- Required to provide basic maintenance on machines and other systems
• Organization-- responsible for keeping area clean and organized

Skills and Qualifications

• Working knowledge of G & M codes
• Able to manually write and edit programs in Fanuc and HAAS controls
• Ability to learn and utilize SurfCAM programming software
• Able to setup parts and fixtures
• Able to setup tools and accurately perform offsets and work offsets with machine control
• Wire EDM knowledge a plus (Mitsubishi)
