T&D Machine is a family-owned CNC job shop seeking highly skilled machinists ready to program and create great parts for our amazing customers.
This job comes with a lot of autonomy - you receive a print & raw material, then own the manufacturing process from start-to-finish. From programming to fixturing to tool selection, you control how we take a chunk of metal and turn it into something great!
Who is this job for? Someone who likes working on different, challenging problems every day and is ready to start programming in Mazatrol on day one.
Who is this job not for? Someone who likes running the same jobs every day, loading programs that someone else wrote, using tools from a pre-set list and requires lots of supervision.
Primary job responsibilities:
· Programming: Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs for new and existing parts.
· Set-Up: Efficiently set up and operate CNC machines to produce parts with precision and accuracy.
· Fixture Design: Get creative and use your Machinist’s mind to come up with innovative and efficient fixtures.
· Tool Selection: Select appropriate tooling and workholding solutions for each job.
· Quality Control: Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet our quality standards.
· Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues in programming, machining, and tool wear.
