Cnc Machinist (2Nd Shift)

Your Daily Life:
As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts. Additionally, you'll ensure quality control through inspection and troubleshooting, while also performing routine maintenance and adhering to safety protocols. As a CNC machinist, you play a crucial role in maintaining efficient and accurate manufacturing processes.
In This Role, You Will:

• Carry out required set-ups and adjustments on machine tools;
• Program and compensate for the manufacture of parts;
• Perform dimensional checks before and during production;
• Operate all equipment and machine tools in a safe and proper manner.
• Report any anomalies or situations involving risk to yourself or others concerning equipment and tooling;
• Keep your work environment and equipment clean;
• Ensure that the finished product is clean and free of defects.

• At least 1 years' experience;
• Ability to read and understand blueprints;
• Experience interpreting cutting parameters and conditions recommended by tool manufacturers;
• Knowledge of GIBBCAM programming (an asset);
• Ability to analyze technical data;
• Rigorous, autonomous; and versatile

• Obligatory day shift training prior to moving to 2nd Shift (length of training dependent on experience);
• 40-hour work week, Monday - Thursday 3:30PM - 2:00AM;
• Minimum 3 weeks' vacation.
