Cnc Machinist 1St & 2Nd Shift

Position Details:

• CNC Mill/Lathe Set/Program/Operate
• Hass, Fadal MIlls Mazak, Hass Lathes
• Able to read, edit, program in G & M code

Position Requirements:

• 5-year minimum and recent CNC machining experience on CNC Lathe/Mill
• CNC programming
• Computer literate.
• Print reading.
• GD&T knowledge is a plus!
• Competent with inspection methods to verify the quality of work.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Have own tools, preferred.
• Able to work with others
• Willingness to work in a dynamic environment.
• Motivated, self-starter with the initiative to succeed.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Completing tasks on schedule
• Meeting quality requirements
• Documenting all quality steps
• Recording job times
• Planning for upcoming jobs
• Maintaining a safe and clean shop
• Set up, program and run parts.
• Performs all common types of machining, including turning, drilling, boring, facing, forming, reaming, tapping, threading, knurling, slotting, burnishing, chamfering, and deburring.
• Obtains information on job requirements from a variety of readouts and presentations including blueprints, analysis sheets, sketches, written and oral instructions, to produce quality products.
• Sets up and operates associated manual machines (drill press, milling machine, saw, etc.) as required.
