Cnc Machine Operator

We are looking for CNC Machinist to join us! This is a great opportunity for growth and use the latest CNC machines to further your career. You will set up and operate our CNC machines to produce automotive components from sbar or tube stock to specifications.

We are hiring for 2nd and 3rd shift

Key Responsibilities:

Interpretation of Specifications: Review work instructions, blueprints, and specifications to determine production operations, machining sequence, and dimensions of finished workpieces.

Machine Setup: Attach fixtures to machine beds and load machines according to work instructions using various tools and measuring instruments.

Tool Assembly: Assemble cutting tools in tool holders and position them in the machine as specified, ensuring precision using hand tools.

Quality Assurance: Observe machine operations to detect workpiece defects or malfunctions, ensuring that parts are produced in accordance with specifications.

Precision Measurement: Measure workpiece dimensions using calipers, micrometers, and various gauges to ensure accuracy according to the process control plan.

Tool Changes: Perform minor tool changes between part families to optimize machine performance.

Finishing Touches: Remove burrs, sharp edges, rust, or scale from workpieces to meet quality standards.

Deviation Handling: May sort non-conforming or deviant parts as needed.

Position Requirements:

Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively in a team environment to achieve machine operation goals.

Experience: Previous knowledge/experience in machine operations, troubleshooting, use of gauging and measuring instruments, blueprint reading, and adherence to safe work environment practices.

Attention to Detail: Demonstrate a keen attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.

Shift Availability:

Positions available for 2nd and 3rd shifts (1st Shift for Training).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour
