SalaryCNC Lathe Set-Up Machinist
$22-$30/hr | Southampton, PA
Qualifications:
- Operates CNC machines to produce production parts and assemblies
- Take Blueprint, full Set Up of CNC Lathe Machine and Operate
- Operates manual machines such as saws, mills, and lathes
- Positions parts in specific locations using a variety of fastening devices
- Operates hand-held tools, electrical tools, and/or pneumatic tools
- Operates lift equipment as needed
- Uses precision measuring tools as required
- Ability to recognize various material types used in department and adjust equipment if needed
- Ability to recognize worn tooling and change in machine as required
- Verifies accuracy of completed product or batch inspects
- Reports defective materials, discrepancies, process malfunctions or completed products that are not in compliance with company and/or customer specifications to the Department Lead
- Completes all necessary paperwork as required, including in process or carbon copy production sheets
Work Environment:
- Temperature controlled facility
- First shift 7:00am-3:30pm Monday-Friday
- Overtime available but not required

Additional Skills:
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience as a CNC Machinist
- Produce a high-quality product according to required specifications on a consistent basis
- Operate all hand tools, machines and equipment successfully as required and with minimal supervision
- Work as a productive team member who contributes to the organizations’ success
