Job Summary:
This person will be responsible for programming, set up, and operation of CNC Turning Machines. Must also be able to comply with the duties and responsibilities below.

All associates are to fulfill the training requirements outlined in the Training Matrix and utilize their knowledge, abilities, and skills while performing all responsibilities in a manner that ensures the quality expectations and requirements are met and exceeded. Associates must show respect for others, use decision making by consensus, personally sacrifice for the team’s benefit, share in the team’s workload, take responsibility for action items, follow good communication processes, and take responsibility for personal actions.
Knowledge | Experience | Skills:
High school diploma or GED. Requires trade school and/or 6+ years mold making and machining experience.
Good communication and Interpersonal Skills. Basic Computer experience.
Preferred knowledge and skills:
• Experience programming in Surf-Cam or equivalent CAD/CAM software.
• Experience with Fanuc and Heidenhain controls
• Experience turning hardened tool steels
• Capable of holding tight tolerances on injection mold components
• Capable of programming and machining complex 3D surfaces
• Experience with live tooling is preferred but not required.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Responsible for Programing CNC Lathe for machining new jobs and repair work.
• Responsible for setting up of CNC Lathe after Programming.
• Remove finished components and install new components for machining.
• Responsible for quality and accuracy of machined parts.
• Must complete job assignments in a timely manner
• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by adhering to company safety standards.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment and assisting in machine maintenance as needed.
• Disassemble, clean, and assist in assembly when required
• Other duties may be required due to shop load.
