As a CNC Lathe Operator, you will operate a variety of one, two, and four spindle CNC lathes to produce precision-machined threaded stainless steel, steel, and brass components. In a typical day, you will operate a cell of 2 to 3 CNC lathes. Note that the parts are relatively simple to machine and the cycle times are set to facilitate operating more than one machine. You will be expected to check machined parts using common gauges, deburr parts, put parts in pin racks, and carry racks to nearby holding shelf for the handoff to Inspection and the next step in the production flow.
Requirements include 2+ yrs. of experience operating one, two, and four spindle CNC machine tools to make stainless steel precision threaded products, maintaining production requirements and meeting applicable quality standards.
Candidates must also have the proven ability to read prints and job documentation and check sample parts using basic manual and digital gauges. We expect that candidates will own basic machinist gauges.
