Job Description
- Set up, operate and adjust CNC Lathe machines.
- Use standard machine tools including, but not limited to drill press, band saw, lathe, press breaks, welding equipment, and a variety of hand, electric, and pneumatic tools
- De-burr parts
- Perform quality inspections on first article and finished product using typical quality measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, comparator, thread/pin/plug gauges, etc.
- Maintain accurate records of approved units, defective units, and final product quantities, signing off on machine/job task (s) performed on job traveler
- Complete required safety training and adhere to required safety regulations
- Maintains a clean and safe workplace.

- High School Diploma / G.E.D
- Able to set-up CNC Lathe machines
- Able to read and understand blueprints;
- 3-5 years CNC Lathe experience – stable work history
- Must be proficient at set-up, operation, determining tooling, process sequences, speeds and feeds, shop mathematics, and thorough on inspection of parts and instruction to others
- Experience on the following machines – HAAS Lathe Machines, Fanuc controlled CNC lathes.
- Ability to routinely lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance
- Work up to 9 hours in manufacturing environment
- Walk/stand on concrete floor, as the job requires
- Ability to work overtime as necessary
- Safeguard self with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Use cleaning equipment or tools as necessary for housekeeping duties in accordance with all safety rules
