The pay range represents the low and high end of the salary range we reasonably expect to pay for this position at the time of posting. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, education, skills, qualifications, performance, and business or organizational needs. Roles & Responsibilities:
- Sets up and operates various CNC lathes in order to meet daily production and quality requirements.
- Must be able to interpret blueprints, setup machines, edit offsets within programs, and perform tool offset adjustments as required to machine specialty bearings.
- Must be able to perform inspections of dimensions machined, including threads, inner diameters, outer diameters, lengths, widths and undercuts/grooves.
- Must model safe behaviors.
- Must follow company quality control standards to include in-process inspection and documentation.
- Must be able to read and interpret engineering prints.
- Must be able to give and receive written and oral instructions in English.
- Must be able to make decisions, communicate effectively and work well with others in a team environment.
- Must have daytime availability for 1st Shift which is 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Friday with overtime and Saturday work available.
Experience:
- Must have at least 2 years of current CNC lathe setup experience.
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED
Skills/Certifications:
- Formal CNC training desired.
Physical & Environmental Elements:
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds unaided.
