Cnc Automation Technician

Fineline Steel Fabrication is hiring for a full-time CNC AUTOMATION TECHNICIAN. Prior experience in the steel fabrication industry is required.

Responsibilities include:

- Operating CNC Plasma beam line, Plasma table, Shear, Brake press

- Contributing to general shop upkeep and maintenance

- Helping with unloading materials as they come in

- Maintaining materials and finished products in an orderly fashion

Skills and qualities needed for this position:

- Experience working with steel fabrication – 2+ years working in the industry

- Fitting and assembling of structural steel and other steel assemblies

- Proficient use of tape measures, squares and other layout and assembly tools

- Reading and understanding fabrication drawings

- Ability to lift and move at least 50+ pounds and to be on your feet most of the day (8-10 hour shifts)

- Comprehension of blueprints and welding symbols

- Friendly personality and willing to work as part of a team
