The Home Health Aide / Certified Nursing Assistant provides personal care to the patient and performs selected household tasks in the patient/family home in accordance with the plan of care developed by the Registered Nurse. They assist in meeting with patients and implementing the services.
As a representative of Family Care Visiting Nurse and Home Care Agency, LLC (FCVN), supports and fosters the philosophy, goals, and objectives of FCVN.
Requirements
- Reliable transportation
- High School Graduate
- Certification to practice as a Home Health Aide/Certified Nursing Assistant in the State of Connecticut.
- Ability to make meaningful observations regarding the patient.
- Ability to recognize patient needs and maintain a professional relationship in dealing with the patient and/or their family member(s)
- Bi-Lingual skills are a plus
