Overview

Voyager Home Healthcare (https://voyagerhomehealthcare.com/) provides paid care-giver programs throughout the state of Colorado (Denver, Pueblo, and Colorado Springs) including programs like In-Home Support Services, Parent CNA, PASA, etc. Additionally, we have four CNA schools (https://www.getcna.co/) which are unique in that they allow students to take their classes in an online format while enabling them to attend in-person clinical and practice labs. We recently opened office locations in Miami and Tucson as well.

Program Overview

Voyager's Certified Nurse Aide program (https://www.getcna.co/) is a subsidiary of Voyager Home Healthcare (https://voyagerhomehealthcare.com/). We currently have four CNA schools in Colorado (two in Denver, one in Colorado Springs, and one in Ft. Collins). As aforementioned; our CNA program is unique in that it allows students to learn in an online format and attend in-person clinical and practical labs.

Instructor Responsibilities:

Maintain appropriate student, teacher, and course documentation

Precept students at our clinical location.

Demonstrate and critique clinical skills, including:

• Bathing
• Dressing
• Proper transfers while ensuring safe body mechanics
• Feeding of patients
• Proper range of motion for patients
• The correct use of assistive devices such as mechanical lifts

· Lead an online classroom discussion

· Precept lab practice

· Demonstrate clinical skills in lab which include;

· Bathing

· Dressing

· Proper transfers while ensuring safe body mechanics

· Feeding of patients

· Proper range of motion for patients

· The correct use of assistive devices such as mechanical lifts, and good interpersonal skills when communicating with other staff and patients.

The instructor must also maintain appropriate student, teacher, and course documentation.

Schedule

Monday-Friday: 8 am-4:30 pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38.00 per hour
