I am currently hiring a CNA or Student of CNA Program with great clinical skills, exceptional client care and communication skills to work part time evenings and weekends near Cole & Ustick and Cloverdale & Amity in Boise for $18/hour with additional day hours available. This is an excellent opportunity for someone currently working on their certification as a nursing assistant or someone already certified.

DESCRIPTION:

This position will perform home health visits with various services for clients as necessary to meet the client’s personal needs, promot comfort, perform personal care, and assisting with Activities of Daily Living.

DETAILS:

• Assistance with oral hygiene, body cleansing, brushing hair, deodorant application, dressing/undressing, application of face and body lotion, changing bed linen, companionship, assistance with feeding, etc.

• Observing the client's skin for breakdown of tissue or other significant changes and reporting these observations to Misty Daniels via text, client, and client’s main caregiver.

• Meeting the safety needs of clients and using equipment safely and properly (hospital beds, side rails, O2, etc.)

• Assisting in ambulation, range of motion, and exercise as instructed by the hospice nurse or therapist

• Assisting with bedpans and urinals

• Providing respite for client's/family/caregiver when on-site, as appropriate

• Keeping client's immediate living space tidy, as assigned

• Respectful of client and family/caregiver environment and client's personal needs

• Ability to read and follow written instructions

• Has a basic understanding of home health

• Is self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision

• Provides a calm manner when in a client's home

• Has empathy for the needs of the ill, injured, frail and the impaired

• Demonstrates tact, patience and good personal hygiene

• Licensed driver with an automobile that is in good working order and reliable

• Must be at least 18 years of age
