Job Summary:
EmpRes Operated by Evergreen is currently taking applications for a CNA Instructorin the Portland area. The ideal candidate will be a kind and compassionate clinician with teaching experience.
Essential Functions:
- Instructs students according to the curriculum in order to build knowledge and clinical skills aimed at passing the CNA licensing exam
- Complies with state and Federal Regulations
- Maintains accurate records on all students, including attendance records, schedules and course requirements
- Evaluate and document students’ progress through testing, observation, and assessment of skills attained
- Communicate effectively with students, and all those affiliated with the course
- Maintains standards of professional nursing practice
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: .
- Required: RN Current licensure in the state of employment.
- Preferred: Nursing experience and teaching experience.
- Demonstrates knowledge of clinical process, particularly as it relates to geriatric residents, long-term care, and rehabilitation.
