Qualifications:
- 2+ years work experience
- Basic Health and TB screening
- State Certified Nursing Assistant Certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to think and work independently and with direction.
- Provide great patient care
- Answer patient calls and determine how to best help them.
- Provide physical support for patients or residents with daily activities and personal hygiene including: bathing, dressing, getting out of bed, using the toilet, walking, standing and exercising.
- Turn and reposition bedridden patients
- Ensure patients receive an appropriate diet by reviewing their dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences.
- Obtain wide range of information from physicians, caregivers, and nuses about patient condition, treatment plans, and suggested activities.
- Measure and record food and liquid intake and urinary and fecal output and reporting changes to medical or nursing staff
- Record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rate as requested by staff
- Examine patients to detect issues requiring medical care, including open wounds, bruises, or blood in urine
- Remind patients to take medications and nutritional supplements
- Note observations of patient behavior, including complaints, or physical symptoms to nurses
- Stay up to date on CNA training and facility policy and procedure.
Compassionate and skilled Home Healthcare Caregiver to provide non-nursing care to our clients in Atlanta and Greater Atlanta including Cobb, Fulton, and Dekalb county. Our ideal candidate will be able to provide care that is focused on promoting independence, safety, and quality of life for our clients.
Pay: $16.00 - $17.50 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 35 per week
