Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Perform daily inspections of construction/ project sites in NYC and NJ ensure compliance with building standards and project specifications.
- Concrete duties include testing of slump, air, unit weight, temperature and fabrication of test cylinders and beams in accordance with ASTM standards.
- These tests require the use of several equipment’s instruments, including an air pressure meter.
- Prepares detailed written reports detailing findings, observations, and test results.
- Implement Atlas’s health and safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
Technical Requirements: ANY OF THE BELOW:
- ACI 1
- ACI 2
- ICC Reinforced Concrete ICC Masonry
- ICC Structural Steel Welding & Bolting
Other miscellaneous qualities:
- Must be able and willing to work some weekends and occasional overtime
- Must have strong communications skills and be computer savvy –and able to add and use Apps on a smart phone or tablet
- Ability to write daily reports
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must successfully complete background and motor vehicle record check
- Ability to follow Construction Site Safety Precautions
Compensation:
$32 - $38 hourly
The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the state’s law. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
