HunaTek is seeking an experienced CMMS Development Lead. The CMMS Development Lead shall assist in CMMS implementation; assist in process definition and development; assist in upgrading functionality of CMMS package through front-end changes; and assist in routine troubleshooting for system upgrades and functionality improvements. They shall lead and direct the activities of employees engaged in producing reports and deploying Mobile CMMS solutions and integrating multiple systems as well as identify problems as they occur and take appropriate steps to remedy software and hardware problems. They will also direct the day-today activities of contract staff.
This position is contingent contract award.
Essential Job Functions:
- Support implementation of Maximo 7.X and above as Enterprise Asset Management solutions.
- Manage the development performance criteria and advise the CMMS steering committee and GTM regarding all development requirements.
- Create and improve existing Maximo applications and mobile opportunities to enhance current operations and organizational performance.
- Provide expert guidance on Enterprise Asset Management best practices.
- Lead development of Mobile Maximo solutions utilizing all available software suites.
- Provide installations, customizations and design changes for software and hardware products which support Mobile CMMS deployments.
- Lead and manage development team contractors by providing daily direction and technical acumen to maintain awareness of product enhancements, especially related to vertical specialties and functionality.
- Provide day-to-day guidance for Mobile CMMS development, administration, and support.
- Recommend, develop, and expand usage of under-utilized Maximo functions and ancillary software products which sustain daily operations.
- Determine, recommend, and implement solutions to business problems.
- Provide daily direction to development contract staff as required by the GTM.
- Maintain awareness of service solutions, upcoming software releases and patches.
- Ensure that technical services, such as screen changes, data load/migration and custom programming are delivered as scheduled by the GTM.
- Develop requirements documents and solutions for CMMS project documents.
- Carry out instructions provided by the STO/OSB FSO for implementation of modifications to existing CMMS applications, including those which support Mobile CMMS activities.
- Provide direction and support for employees directly engaged in developing and deploying metrics reporting, interactive dashboards, and Mobile CMMS utilities.
- Enhance team performance through process improvement and customer driven development.
- Provide information assurance documentation for technology enhancements and innovations.
- Lead report development to enhance business metrics.
- Collaborate with customers to establish requirements and perform user acceptance testing.
- Present project status to CMMS steering committee.
Skills and Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT related field.
- Expert knowledge of IBM Maximo Version 7 and at least 2 years’ experience working with IBM Maximo 6
- Expert knowledge of the following applications:
- Syclo Version 5.x
- Business Objects
- Java/Eclipse
- Oracle/SQL Server: Pl/SQL
- Expert knowledge of TMR’s Rules Manager software suite
- Top-Secret with SCI eligible security clearance
Skills and Qualifications Desired:
- PMP, Maximo and Syclo Certification
