We are looking for someone who is highly self-motivated, has a strong sense of urgency, takes the initiative, is solution-driven, and has the ability to make things happen. The ClubHALO Intern will work with the HALO COO, Senior Operations Manager, Jefferson City Operations Manager and Operations Coordinator and will be a part of our ClubHALO efforts for the HALO headquarters and HALO branches. ClubHALO is a digital achievement program that empowers kids to help other kids. Through this platform, kids and teens around the world can complete challenges, lead fundraisers, and build a community of other young people to bring awareness and action to ending youth homelessness. This position will be for at least 10 hours a week at HALO Headquarters in Kansas City, or virtually. This intern will report to the Operations Coordinator.

Examples of tasks include:
Update ClubHALO Intern profile with your picture and information
Check discussions and approve new topics/replies from ClubHALO members
Engage with ClubHALO members through challenge responses, discussions, and direct messages
Monitor reward redemptions and mail items accordingly with accurate tracking on inventory
Assist with organizing quarterly ClubHALO Zoom meeting
Monitor ClubHALO nominees, place into appropriate groups, and invite into the hub
Create challenges and follow ClubHALO Google Calendar for content creation
Organize ClubHALO content into HALO blog posts, social media posts, and other marketing uses
Communicate with ClubHALO Chapters to make sure they are following Chapter requirements
Candidates for this Internship must exhibit strong organizational and communication skills. Also be able to work well in a team atmosphere, highly motivated, enjoy brainstorming, and take the initiative on all projects.
Needs to have access to a laptop and reliable internet. Needs to be efficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint. Knowledge of Canva is a plus. Training provided on all other programs. Please note this is an unpaid internship; however this an excellent opportunity to gain a variety of experience in the nonprofit sector.
